Spherion

Spherion is a leading recruiting and staffing company. The heart of their recruitment process exists within their DW and BI environments, which contains HR data, Application data, and Survey data. This allows Spherion customers to access to candidate information that can enable best matches to job needs, as well as assistance in onboarding of new employees and assessment of customer satisfaction. Spherion asked Spartan Technologies to provide one of their DW Architects/BI Specialists to manage this critical information platform.

American Red Cross

The American Red Cross uses Siebel to provide customer access to pertinent information as well as registration for all classes offered (eg. CPR). ARC wanted to ensure their current IT investment was secured while providing best performance and functionality for their customers, which drove the decision to upgrade to current Siebel releases (7.0.5 to 7.8.2). ARC asked Spartan to utilize their extensive CRM expertise to perform this upgrade for them.

Using Spartan's proven upgrade methodolgy, the project was executed end to end without delays or surprises.

UCB Pharaceuticals

The next generation biopharma leader. With a unique combination of expertise in biology and chemistry, UCB is a global biopharma focusing on severe diseases in two therapeutic areas - CNS and Immunology. UCB also has a selective presence in primary care.

Transcontinental Direct

Transcontinental Direct is a leading direct service marketing provider for customers across North America. The company utilized the Business Objects 6.5 framework to develop and deploy reports to key customers. Concerned about the end of support for BO 6.5 and lacking a robust and extensible BO security model, the company turned to Spartan Technologies to assist in migrating to Business Objects XI Release 2

A Business Objects architect worked with key Transcontinental Direct staff to install and configure the Business Objects XI Release 2 framework, develop an appropriate security model and migrate existing content to the new environment. Spartan utilized a highly structured and tested methodology to complete this migration in just two weeks, reducing down time for reporting and enabling Transcontinental to begin developing in XI Release 2 immediately upon completion. The new extensible security model dramatically increased the turn around time for Transcontinental to add new customers in a secured environment. Transcontinental’s investment in Business Objects technology was protected by moving to a supported platform in a minimal amount of time. Training and post implementation support were provided to make sure that the company received the maximum benefit from their new environment.

Wells Real Estate Funds

Since its founding in 1984, Wells Real Estate Funds has invested more than $11 billion in real estate for more than 200,000 investors, and has managed more than 47 million square feet of space in 231 buildings nationally. Wells uses a Sales tracking system called MARCI, Siebel investment application. Their goal was not only to save hundreds of hours of tedious, administrative work for their account managers, but to build a system that would streamline their process AND give sales, senior executives, and others within their firm access to Broker/Dealer's yearly business plans. Spartan Technologies was asked to help them to first understand their challenges and project objectives, then anchor that team through to solution delivery.

Spartan partnered with the Wells IT team to extend MARCI's capibilities to centrally store all broker/dealer information currently stored disparately. This enabled centralised reporting at all levels of the Wells organization.
